Today we celebrated Clarissa and Abby's birthday. I can't believe another year has gone by. It seems like yesterday that the girls we just babies and we were going through the life with a one year old and preemie. The girls love ladybugs so this year it was decided to have a Ladybug themed party. The girls and I had so much fun making the invitations and once they had given them to their friends, the day could not come fast enough!
Clarissa was able to have 4 of her friends over while Abby had 3 over. We had started a tradition when the boys were younger that until they were six years old, they would get as many friends invited to their party as they were turning. This has worked out really well and so we followed that tradition with the girls. The girls had a lot of with their friends while they made a ladybug bookmark, ladybug mini magnet and decorated their own "ladybug" cupcake. I don't think they resembeled ladybugs at all when they were finished, but the girls sure had a lot of fun eating all the frosting they could and the M&M's. We then opened up the gifts. All the girls had fun watching to see what fin things were given. Clarissa and Abby are so lucky to have such great friends to spend their special day with.
