I can hardly believe it has been 13 years since I married my sweetheart. Over those few years, we have only moved 3 times, lived in 3 states, had 6 kids and have become best friends. I couldn't have asked for a better man. He has supported me in all that I do and we have grown in more ways than I can count. I am so glad that I will have many more year to grow together with him. There isn't anything like having your best friend as your husband. I'm not saying that our life is perfect, but we're working on it. I am grateful for all he does for me and I can honestly say I love him more now than I did back then. Happy 13th Honey!

5-Pin Bowling in Canada

In May we decided to take the kids to Canada again, before we are required to have passports. We went with some friends to Windsor, Ontario, Canada to play some 5-pin bowling. This is really fun for the kids since they can hold the ball without any problems. The ball is about the size of a large grapefuit. All the kids really enjoyed themselves and loved the fact they won the adults! We ate a Canadian McDonald's. Their menu is a lot more healthy than the American one and the building is a lot cleaner. The kids had to think about which waste to put into which recycle bin. Good thing for the picture icons! We had an enjoyable afternoon. Enjoy the pictures!

Ticklish Clarissa

One thing I know for sure is that Clarissa has her daddy's tickle bone. She is very ticklish! It doesn't take much for her to start giggling when you start tickling.
There are many days that she will laugh and laugh and it make those around her laugh. Her laughter is very contagious. What a joy it is to have Clarissa in our family. We love you Cissy Ann!

Angel Abby

For those of you that are not able to be around Abby, let me tell you a little secret. She will eat about anything. SHE LOVES TO EAT! One Sunday, about a month ago, we had an Angel Food Cake with strawberries and cool whip for dessert. This was the first time that we let her really feed herself and boy she had a great time. There is nothing dainty about the way our 'little' Abby eats. As you can see from the pictures, she didn't want to leave anything on her plate. We had so much watching her devour a simple piece of cake. I do have to admit, it was yummy.

First Blogging Attempt

Well, we finally did it. We have followed everyone else in the world and decided to start "blogging". After many attempts of trying to send weekly or monthly e-mails to family and friends to update them about our family, we took the final leap. Here it goes!

The month of May has been a whirlwind. Spring is synonymus with baseball at our house. This year we will have 4 boys playing on 3 teams. Danny, #8, is on the LA Dodgers, a Kid Pitch team. Jake, # 11, and Aaron, #2, are on the Seattle Mariner's Coach Pitch team. Lastly, Caleb, #5, is on the Royal Sox T-ball team. We basically live at the ballpark during the week. We love once the game starts. It is a bit crazy trying to get everyone out the door on time.

It is really fun to see Danny play pitcher on his team and watch him grow in this capacity. He seems to do really well under pressure! He also plays a pretty mean shortstop and outfielder as well. So far this season his team is undefeated. They have played 4 games and have 6 to go.

Jake and Aaron are enjoying playing together on their team as well. It is really fun to see how they have grown up since last season. Jake continues to develop his skills. He is becoming quite an accomplished first baseman. He is so easy going and tends to learn things at his own pace. He doesn't sweat the small stuff and get so excited when he completes a good play. Aaron continues to play really well. He is a natural.

Caleb is quite entertaining on the field! Despite repeated practices teaching him to run to first, he ran straight to third base on his first hit. His second attempt, he ran to first and then halfway to second decided that he had plenty of time to reach the base so he proceeded to drag his feet the rest of the way. Which resulted in an out. Did this bother Caleb? No. He loves playing with the other kids in the dugout. He also likes his dad being the Coach.

Meanwhile in the bleachers, Mom and the girls cheer all the boys on at the games. Most recently, Clarissa and Abby have found that dirt is quite enjoyable.
